Personal data

Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains how VALLTIS processes the personal data of website visitors and users of the booking service available at /en/meet/.

Data controller

The data controller is VALLTIS, a French simplified joint-stock company registered under number 107 448 987 R.C.S. Le Havre, with its registered office at 16 rue des Fermes, 76310 Sainte-Adresse, France.

For any question or request concerning your data, contact [email protected].

Data processed and purposes

Browsing, language and security

Hosting, directing visitors to an appropriate language version and protecting the website may require technical data to be processed, including the IP address, approximate country or region, browser language, request date and time, requested page and information about the browser and device. This data is used to provide the website, suggest the most suitable language, prevent abuse and maintain security, based on VALLTIS’s legitimate interests.

Audience and acquisition measurement

VALLTIS uses Umami Cloud, hosted in its European region, to produce anonymous statistics: pages viewed, referrer, UTM campaign parameters, approximate country, browser and device type. The website also measures clicks leading to the demonstration, PipeVision, the application, contact email and LinkedIn, along with meeting-type selection and booking creation. No name, email, entered content, time slot or booking identifier is sent to Umami.

These statistics help VALLTIS understand its audience, campaign effectiveness and the journey towards a booking. This processing is based on VALLTIS’s legitimate interest in improving its website and measuring commercial acquisition.

Demonstration booking

The /en/meet/ page allows you to book a demonstration through Cal.eu. The following data is processed:

  • Name and professional email address, required
  • Company and job title, required
  • Topic to discuss during the demonstration, optional
  • Selected time slot and time zone

This information is used to book and organise the demonstration, create the Google Calendar invitation and Google Meet link, send confirmations and reminders, and manage the resulting professional exchanges. This processing is based on pre-contractual steps requested by the individual and on VALLTIS’s legitimate interest in managing its professional relationships.

The data is not used for a newsletter, automated decision-making or commercial disclosure to partners.

Recipients and storage

Only authorised VALLTIS personnel may access bookings and the related information.

Cal.eu, the European service operated by Cal.com, Inc. provides the embedded calendar, email verification and the management of bookings, confirmations and reminders. Google Calendar and Google Meet are used to create the event and video call. Cloudflare, Inc. provides website hosting and security services. Umami Software, Inc. provides anonymous audience measurement through Umami Cloud. These providers access data only as necessary to provide their services.

Retention periods

Demonstration requests are retained for no longer than three years from collection or the prospect’s most recent contact, then deleted.

Data held by Cal.eu and Google is also subject to the retention periods configured by VALLTIS and each provider’s own obligations. Technical data relating to hosting, security and audience statistics is retained only for as long as strictly necessary for those purposes.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Cal.eu states that scheduling data is stored and processed in the European Union. Using Cloudflare, Google and Umami, companies established in the United States, may nevertheless involve some data being processed in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area, including for service administration and support. These transfers are covered by the safeguards required by applicable law. Google states that it relies in particular on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies, language choice and audience measurement

VALLTIS only sets the first-party valltis_locale cookie to remember your language choice. It contains only “fr” or “en”, expires twelve months after your latest choice and is not used for advertising tracking or audience measurement. This interface-personalisation cookie provides the requested service and does not require prior consent.

Umami audience measurement uses no cookies or fingerprinting and stores no personal data. It does not enable cross-site tracking or targeted advertising and respects the browser’s “Do Not Track” signal. The /en/meet/ page also loads an embedded Cal.eu service that may use cookies or similar technologies to operate and secure bookings, remember preferences and measure use of its service. This processing is described in Cal.com’s privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on your circumstances, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability.

You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. VALLTIS may request proof of identity only when necessary to verify who made the request.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the website’s processing activities, providers or features change, particularly before any advertising, session-replay or prospecting tools are introduced.
